Pupils visit the Kluthe laboratory

Insights for the future

In cooperation with Heidelberger Dienste (HDD), 15 pupils and two supervisors had the exciting opportunity to get to know our Kluthe laboratory.

From the presentation of the business units and their versatile products to the practical experience in the laboratory - there was a lot to discover. The students were allowed to titrate samples to determine active ingredient concentrations and were given an insight into surface analysis using SEM. One highlight was the demonstration of the Reichert balance, where the importance of cooling and lubrication in metalworking was clearly explained.

Finally, the day was rounded off with a tour of the plant, during which it was shown how the products developed in the laboratory are manufactured. An instructive and inspiring day for everyone involved!
