IPCC report 2023

According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change IPCC, action is needed as soon as possible - How to actively contribute as a chemical company

The #IPCCreport published this week makes it clear once again that the world is moving at full speed towards breaking the 1.5-degree target. According to the forecast, the limit would be breached before 2040. Heat waves and droughts, floods and the loss of biodiversity are the consequences.

What can we do?

We must act now. Renewable raw materials, sustainable supply chains and recyclates are one way to get there. The remaining, unavoidable emissions must be offset by CO2 removal. Converting monoculture forests into mixed forests is an important tool in this regard and promotes biodiversity in addition to climate protection.

The levers of climate protection are manifold and indispensable. This is a topic that has concerned us at Kluthe for a long time. Read more HERE.
