Chemische Werke Kluthe wins Environment Award!

Chemische Werke Kluthe GmbH has been awarded the Baden-Württemberg 2024 Environmental Prize for Companies in the “Industry, companies with 250 to 1,000 employees” category. The award ceremony took place yesterday at the New Palace in Stuttgart and recognizes the sustainable commitment of the Heidelberg-based family business.

“This award is not only an honor for our great team, but also an incentive to continue to do our best - for the environment, our customers and future generations,” explains Julian Senn, Sustainability & Communications Manager at Chemische Werke Kluthe GmbH.

Chemische Werke Kluthe is a global specialist in chemical products for metalworking and surface treatment. For decades, the company has focused on sustainability and innovative recycling solutions in order to reduce the environmental impact of its own activities and those of its customers. In 2023, for example, a well-known car manufacturer that switched from a conventional rinsing medium to the innovative Cyclosol saved over 690 tons of CO2 per year. Today, the company already has environmentally friendly options for over 80% of its products, which are more cost-effective overall in 75% of cases. Kluthe stands for optimizing processes with innovative solutions, saving costs and at the same time making an active contribution to environmental protection.
