A large agricultural machinery manufacturer in Germany produces transmission parts such as gears using machining oils. The company has a great interest in optimizing its CO₂e footprint due to its global sustainability strategy.
With the sustainable machining oil Hakuform S 722, Kluthe Application Technology presented an innovative solution that achieves up to 75 % CO₂e savings compared to conventional, mineral oil-based machining oils.
After a short test phase, all systems were converted to Hakuform S 722. All processes run stably and safely with Hakuform S 722. The customer saved over 142,000 kg of CO₂e in 2024 - a strong contribution to reducing its CO₂e footprint.
This sustainable innovation meets the requirements of sustainability reporting (CSRD) and shows how existing processes can be optimized.
