Recycling must work.
On World Environment Day, it is important to examine where environmental impact is created: within the production process.
In the paint shop, simply replacing virgin material with recycled material is not enough. The line still has to run. Performance must be maintained. Quality must remain consistent.
If recycling does not work in serial production, a good idea quickly becomes a severe process risk.
Last year, we made this change at a major automotive customer, replacing virgin material with recycled material from our NIKUTEX product line.
The processes remained stable and we helped the customer save more than 441 metric tons of CO₂e.
